Repository of digital uses 2025 (Arcom les Mediathèques)
: The Pôle numérique Arcep - Arcom , created in 2020, aims to deepen the technical, economic and environmental analyses of digital markets, and to support the two regulators in the implementation of their missions in the digital field. One of the Pôle Arcep - Arcom's products is its digital usage reference system. Its aim is to provide the general public with common reference data on digital usage. This fifth edition incorporates new themes such as time spent on screens and users' appreciation of this time spent, people's perception of artificial intelligence as a threat or an opportunity, and the latest trends in audio and video consumption, including on social networks and video-sharing platforms. On the environmental front, in addition to indicators on the e[...]

Empirical studies cannot determine the total effect of AI on employment, due to a lack of temporal perspective and the fact that AI adoption by firms remains modest. However, certain trends could be linked to the emergence of AI. The first rounds of redundancies attributable to AI are mainly in the most exposed industries (finance and IT), although AI adoption is sometimes used as a cover for o[...]
